Project Manager

<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software migration projects for clients on the <strong>IBM Z</strong> platform. This role is responsible for planning, execution oversight, stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivery governance across one or more migration workstreams.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide project management for <strong>IBM Z software migration projects</strong> and coordinate multiple technical workstreams as required.</li> <li>Define project scope, develop plans and timelines, manage resources, and track execution against milestones and deliverables.</li> <li>Report status, scope changes, risks, challenges, and requirements to leadership and stakeholders.</li> <li>Apply planning, tracking, <strong>change control</strong>, and <strong>risk management</strong> practices to support successful delivery.</li> <li>Support vendor coordination and alignment of workstreams to business objectives.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Mandatory Skills and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong technical <strong>project management</strong> experience, ideally in software migration or IBM Z environments.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional technical teams with responsibility for <strong>scope</strong>, <strong>cost</strong>, <strong>schedule</strong>, <strong>risk</strong>, and contractual deliverables.</li> <li>Experience leading or supporting migration programs that replace competitive / ISV tools with IBM solutions across the IBM Z estate.</li> <li>Strong <strong>stakeholder management</strong>, communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>IBM mainframe</strong> technologies and <strong>IBM Z software</strong></li> <li>Ability to assess migration impact on existing processes and support structured <strong>change management</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred / Additional Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>PMP</strong> or <strong>PRINCE2</strong></li> <li>Experience with mainframe application development technologies such as <strong>COBOL</strong> or <strong>PL/I</strong>.</li> </ul>
