About the role
- Communicate complex technologies and program challenges to senior leadership
- Conduct forums with senior leaders to independently review program technologies
- Create project plans that include tasks, milestones and timelines
- Identifying and finding solutions for potential risks, such as budget constraints or supplier delays
- Develop strategic plans for project execution and delivery, taking into account project scope, resources, timelines, and other constraints.
- Manage and lead project teams, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their work aligns with project plans and specifications.

Required Qualifications:
- Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a Department of War security clearance is required. All applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 14 years of experience, or
- Master's degree in business or a related field and 7 years of experience.
- Prior DOW project manager experience
- Must have the ability to communicate both written and oral with executive management to ensure program related issues are addressed
- Must have a thorough understanding of operating a computer, which includes Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications
- Excellent critical thinking and analytic skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are an asset.
