<p><strong>Title: </strong>Project Manager, Public Opportunities</p> <p><strong>Type: </strong>Full Time, Exempt</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Reston, Virginia (Hybrid)</p> <p><strong>Reports to: </strong>Director, Utilities</p> <p>The Project Manager is responsible for the management and successful delivery of large-scale heavy civil and public infrastructure projects. This role oversees multiple projects ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all contract requirements, public agency standards, and company expectations.</p> <p><strong><em>Disclaimer:</em></strong><em> The following description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential responsibilities of work performed by employees within this classification. It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.</em></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide oversight of multiple heavy civil construction projects including roadway, utilities, stormwater, grading, and site development.</li> <li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.</li> <li>Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation efforts.</li> <li>Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and challenges.</li> <li>Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes.</li> <li>Ensure accurate billing</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve project profitability.</li> <li>Interpret and manage contracts, plans, specifications, and public agency requirements.</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, municipalities, and public agencies.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat work and future opportunities.</li> <li>Participate in progress meetings, presentations, and communication.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, and logistics.</li> <li>Proficiency in cost control systems and construction management software.</li> <li>Deep understanding of public contracts, specifications, and compliance requirement</li> <li>Experience working on public contracts (1-3 years)</li> <li>Experience with creating/managing schedules (1-3 years)</li> <li>Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary + Yearly Bonus</li> <li>Paid Holidays and Vacation</li> <li>Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance plus additional voluntary plans</li> <li>401K with company match</li> <li>Company phone, computer,</li> <li>Vehicle allowance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Muller Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes hiring decisions solely on the basis of merit</em></p>
