Senior Project Manager, Public Sector

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background managing federal government technology and digital services projects. The ideal candidate has experience working within federal contracting environments, managing multidisciplinary teams, and delivering successful outcomes for government clients.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <h4><strong>Project Leadership</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead complex federal technology and digital services projects from discovery through deployment.</li> <li>Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.</li> <li>Facilitate Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.</li> <li>Partner with technical leads to translate requirements into actionable project plans and user stories.</li> <li>Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Financial &amp; Operational Management</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Manage project budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and resource allocations.</li> <li>Track scope changes and support change order processes.</li> <li>Maintain accurate project reporting, revenue forecasting, and invoicing.</li> <li>Drive project profitability and operational efficiency.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Client Partnership</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact on the project for federal clients.</li> <li>Facilitate status meetings, project reviews, and stakeholder communications.</li> <li>Support high client satisfaction and CPARS performance.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Team Collaboration</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional teams including designers, developers, strategists, and subcontractors.</li> <li>Conduct project health checks and retrospectives.</li> <li>Support a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of project management experience (or Master's degree and 7+ years), including leading federal government technology, digital services, web, CMS, cloud, data, or digital transformation projects.</li> <li>PMP certification required, with strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.</li> <li>Proven experience managing project budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, resource allocation, and overall project financial performance.</li> <li>Strong understanding of federal contracting environments, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts, FAR/DFARS requirements, and federal procurement processes.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, client relationship, and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Forum One?</strong></h3> <p>Join a collaborative team that helps government agencies deliver meaningful outcomes through innovative digital solutions. For this position, the target base salary range is&nbsp; $84,000 to $126,000. Actual compensation salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, such as your qualifications, skills, experience, security clearances, certifications, and the scope of your responsibilities.
