Senior Project Manager – Data & Analytics Projects in the Public Sector

Lead complex digital transformation initiatives that make a real difference
Twoday is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex data and analytics projects for a major public sector organisation.
You will play a key role in delivering business-critical initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across both business and technology functions. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale programmes in a highly professional environment while being part of one of the leading technology consultancies in the Nordics.
Due to the nature of the assignment, a significant onsite presence with the client will be required.
The role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading and delivering complex IT and digital transformation projects, with a particular focus on data and analytics solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading projects from initiation through to successful delivery
Managing project scope, timelines, budgets and risks
Coordinating stakeholders across business, technology and external suppliers
Facilitating workshops, steering committee meetings and decision-making processes
Ensuring effective governance, reporting and project communication
Driving project execution while maintaining a strong focus on quality and business value
Supporting initiatives involving SAS-based solutions and data platforms
Your profile
We are looking for someone who can combine strong project leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex organisational environments.
Ideally, you will have:
Several years of experience managing large-scale IT or digital transformation projects
Experience working with SAS platforms or projects where SAS has been a key technology component
Experience delivering projects within the public sector or for public sector clients
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
A structured and pragmatic approach to project delivery
The ability to create clarity and momentum in complex environments
The following would be considered an advantage:
Experience with data and analytics platforms
Knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence or reporting solutions
Familiarity with both Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Experience working within formal governance frameworks and programme structures
