We’re looking for a Project Scheduler who can bring structure to complexity—someone who can build, manage, and communicate schedules that keep programs aligned, accountable, and moving forward.</p> <p>This role sits at the intersection of program delivery, data, and strategy. You’ll work closely with program managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure plans are realistic, risks are visible, and execution stays on track.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define timelines, milestones, and sequencing</li> <li>Translate technical work and contract requirements into clear, actionable schedules</li> <li>Analyze schedule performance, identify risks, and proactively recommend adjustments</li> <li>Track progress against baseline and communicate variances in a clear, data-driven way</li> <li>Create concise, client-ready reports and visualizations for leadership and government stakeholders</li> <li>Help drive consistency and best practices across projects and programs</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in project scheduling, ideally supporting IT programs in a government contracting environment</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Project</li> <li>Ability to translate complex technical work into clear, structured plans</li> <li>Strong communication skills—you can explain the “why” behind the schedule, not just the dates</li> <li>A proactive mindset—you don’t just track schedules, you improve them</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting DoD or civilian federal agencies</li> <li>Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments</li> <li>Hands-on technical experience to understand the context of the projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why D2</strong></p> <ul> <li>You’ll work on programs that matter—supporting real government missions</li> <li>You’ll be part of a collaborative, low-ego team that values clarity and ownership</li> <li>You’ll have the autonomy to improve processes, not just follow them</li> <li>We focus on outcomes, not unnecessary overhead</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul> <li>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</li> <li>Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
