<p><strong>Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 2 - Project Scientist:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Collect soil, water, and/or air media utilizing different sampling techniques.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Gather, analyze, and interpret data.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Assist with due diligence (ASTM Phase I) projects.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Assist with Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations (RSR), Release Base Cleanup Regulations (RBCRs) and Property Transfer Program-based reports including, but not limited to Completion of Investigations, Remedial Action Plans, Verifications, Status Reports.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Actively develop your own career growth with opportunities to assist with field and reporting tasks.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">2 years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and familiarity of CTDEEP regulatory reporting.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">The ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong communication skills.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
