Key Responsibilities
- Review Written Content: Examine text for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.

- Fact-Checking: Confirm the accuracy of factual information, including dates, statistics, names, and references.
- Collaborate with Writers: Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators to improve clarity and readability.
- Final Quality Check: Perform a final review of documents before publication or submission to ensure they are error-free and polished.
- Adaptation for Different Formats: Adjust content to fit different formats such as print, web, or social media platforms.
- Work on Tight Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all proofreading tasks are completed within specified timelines.
- Track Edits and Changes: Use tools such as Microsoft Word’s track changes feature to highlight and document corrections.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive content with discretion and professionalism.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style rules.
- Experience with various style guides (APA, Chicago, etc.).
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to finding errors.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with writers and other team members.
