Property Maintenance Builder

<p></p> <p>At Mr Apple, we grow more than world class apples — we grow great people.</p> <p>We’re looking for a practical, hands on problem solver to help keep our Accommodation, Post Harvest, and Orchard sites running smoothly. If you love variety, take pride in quality workmanship, and enjoy working across a wide range of building and maintenance tasks, this role is for you.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing?</strong></p> <p>You’ll be part of the team carrying out general building, carpentry, and maintenance across our sites, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and looking sharp. Your day could include:</p> <ul> <li>Completing a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, decking, fencing, and repairs</li> <li>Installing and fitting doors, windows, cabinetry, and fixtures to a high standard</li> <li>Carrying out minor renovations, alterations, painting, and finishing work</li> <li>Performing concrete repairs and small slab work</li> <li>Conducting routine property inspections and preventative maintenance</li> <li>Diagnosing and troubleshooting building and maintenance issues</li> <li>Managing materials, supplies, and maintaining clean, safe work sites</li> <li>Supporting urgent repairs and participating in the on-call weekend roster (every second weekend)</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in general building, carpentry, or general hand work</li> <li>&nbsp;Strong carpentry skills and confidence using hand and power tools</li> <li>Great problem solving ability and a proactive mindset</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others</li> <li>Good time management and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment</li> <li>A trade qualification (preferred)</li> <li>First Aid certificate (preferred)</li> <li>Working at Heights certification (preferred)</li> <li>Full driver’s licence</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full time permanent role working for a large business with great exposure</li> <li>Every second weekend on call</li> <li>A company vehicle for work use&nbsp;</li> <li>Travel across all Mr Apple sites — no two days are the same</li> <li>A supportive team culture and a company that values quality, safety, and people</li> <li>The chance to grow your skills across a wide variety of building and maintenance work</li> </ul> <p>If you’re ready to bring your skills to a role where your craftsmanship truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
