Our team believes in every client’s ability to achieve recovery and rebuild meaningful, engaged lives in their communities.</div></div><p><strong>Position: Group Facilitator</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>The Group Facilitator delivers <strong>structured, evidence‑informed group sessions</strong> for individuals recovering from <strong>substance use and/or co‑occurring mental health disorders</strong>. This role focuses on <strong>group psychoeducation, skills practice, and recovery support</strong>, following approved curricula and program schedules. The facilitator documents services in compliance with agency, payor, and federal requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duties&nbsp;and&nbsp;Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Group Facilitation (Primary)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Facilitate <strong>psychoeducational and skills-based groups</strong> (e.g., CBT/DBT skills, relapse prevention, MI-informed recovery groups, trauma-informed coping, life skills, wellness/recovery, co-occurring education).</li> <li>Follow <strong>approved curricula</strong> and group schedules; tailor delivery to client acuity and stage of change.</li> <li>Apply <strong>trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally responsive</strong> practices; foster psychological safety and group cohesion.</li> <li>Use <strong>pro‑social and recovery-oriented interventions</strong> (peer support, community connectedness, positive reinforcement).</li> <li>Manage group dynamics: set norms, redirect disruptions, de-escalate conflict, and maintain boundaries.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client Safety &amp; Escalation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct brief <strong>pre/post-session check-ins</strong> as needed for safety and engagement.</li> <li>Identify risk indicators (relapse, suicidality, psychosis, domestic violence); <strong>follow crisis protocols</strong> and escalate to clinical supervisor</li> </ul> <p><strong>Documentation &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Document group notes (attendance, participation, intervention, response, risk, next steps),&nbsp;meeting <strong>billing and Quality Improvement</strong> standards.</li> <li>Safeguard PHI in strict compliance with <strong>42 CFR Part 2</strong> and <strong>HIPAA</strong>; communicate client information <strong>only</strong> within scope.</li> <li>Track outcome/engagement measures when required by program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Teaming &amp; Program Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Communicate client concerns to the <strong>primary clinician/case manager</strong>; contribute brief observations to treatment team huddles as requested.</li> <li>Provide input on <strong>group scheduling, curricula gaps, and client engagement strategies</strong>.</li> <li>Maintain familiarity with <strong>community resources</strong> and share resource information in group (no direct linkage/case management unless activated by clinical team).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Active&nbsp;<strong>CDCA certification</strong></li> <li>Must&nbsp;pass&nbsp;BCI&nbsp;check,&nbsp;all&nbsp;Corporate&nbsp;Compliance&nbsp;checks,&nbsp;and&nbsp;employment&nbsp;drug&nbsp;screen.&nbsp;</li> <li>Preferred:</li> <ul> <li>Experience facilitating groups in <strong>SUD, IOP/PHP, residential, or MAT</strong> settings.</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Part time, between the hours of &nbsp;8:30a-5p</p> <p><strong>Location</strong>: Whitehall, OH</p><div class="content-conclusion"><div>Our benefits package includes paid time off (PTO and sick time), paid holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid continuing education with supervision, parental leave, and eligibility for loan forgiveness programs.</div> <p>LBHS is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability status, genetics, gender identity and/or expression, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.</p> <p>LBHS adheres to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act as amended, Ohio Civil Rights Act, and all applicable rules and regulations.
