About the role
Greene County Public Health has internship opportunities for public health students. Public health is an exciting field with opportunities for various interests and majors. Areas that intersect public health are health care, social services, food service safety, environmental safety, administration, management, business, information systems, epidemiology, finances, public relations, and so many more! Internship opportunities are a wonderful way to find out more about this field and explore ways you may become part of the workforce. Our goal is to provide each student with a robust, hands-on learning experience that is mutually beneficial for both the student and our agency. As an intern, you will be assigned a preceptor to guide you throughout your time with us.
Documents required for this application:
- Resume and/or curriculum vitae (CV)
- 3 professional references, at least 1 of these should be a faculty member (in PDF or Word format)
For questions about the internship program, please contact Evan Dillahunt, Administrative Officer, at intern@greenecophoh.gov
Please note that a completed background check is required before access to Greene County Public Health facilities and data is granted. The background check is initiated by the agency and is at no cost to the intern applicant.
