Position Overview:
The Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Human Resources, under the Office of the Director looking to hire a Chief of Staff. Chief of Staff serves as a strategic advisor and operational leader overseeing high‑visibility, sensitive, and often time‑critical initiatives that shape the Bureau’s effectiveness. This role manages complex projects, coordinates cross‑division activities, and ensures seamless communication between the Bureau Chief, division chiefs, and the Director’s Office. Acting as the Bureau’s staffing coordinator, the position reviews and validates staffing and budget documentation, prepares executive‑level correspondence and approvals, and maintains essential records and workflows that support organizational decision‑making.
