Where You’ll Fit:
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Purchasing & Production Manager to oversee material procurement, vendor relationships, and assist with production scheduling for our growing design-build landscaping division.
This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands construction and landscaping operations, and can effectively coordinate between design, field crews, and vendors.
What You’ll Build:
Purchasing & Vendor Management
- Source and procure materials for landscaping and hardscaping projects (plants, stone, pavers, lighting, irrigation, etc.)
- Build and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery aligned with production schedules
- Maintain accurate purchase orders and inventory tracking
Production & Scheduling
- Develop and manage Gantt schedules to coordinate crews, materials, and project timelines
- Align labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure smooth project handoffs and crew mobilization
- Monitor timelines and proactively adjust as needed
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Track job costs and work with leadership to maintain target profit margins
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Support estimating through material takeoffs and vendor pricing as needed

Your Foundation:
- 3+ years in landscaping, construction, or production management
- Knowledge of landscaping materials, hardscaping, and installation processes preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with purchasing, vendor negotiation, and scheduling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project management or CRM software a plus
