Sr. QA Analyst

<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>The Senior QA Analyst will be assigned to assist with complex projects or programs and oversee aspects of the test deliverables, including managing outside contract testers.&nbsp; This role will plan and implement test plans, track test executions and report the results.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead testing activities for large projects. These activities include Test Planning, Test Design and Execution, and Test Management and Communication.</li> <li>Act as a key point of contact, providing QA services and coordinating resources internally and externally.</li> <li>Ensure timely resolution or response and follow up on requests to minimize impact on business partners and/or project teams.</li> <li>Participate in requirements and design review meetings as a front-end to testing process.</li> <li>Ability to perform and track test executions and report on the results.</li> <li>Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and obtain sign off for corporate projects and releases.</li> <li>Provide subject matter expertise through responding to questions and concerns from business and IT partners in a professional manner.</li> <li>Understand, build, update and maintain procedural documentation as appropriate.</li> <li>Lead quality assurance efforts by actively leading or participating as a member of cross-functional improvement teams.</li> <li>Participate in the continuous expansion and enhancement of the F&amp;G Testing Center of Excellence.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience and Education Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li>4-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance</li> <li>Experience in documenting and analyzing software test metrics</li> <li>Previous experience with life and annuity products preferred</li> <li>Experience working in an IT ecosystem (third party vendors, software suppliers, SaaS, PaaS) preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools</li> <li>Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases</li> <li>Ability to understand technical specifications</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities under tight deadlines</li> <li>Must be a self-motivated and well-organized team player</li> <li>Analytical skills with proven ability to comprehend business requirements</li> <li>Ability to think strategically</li> <li>Ability to influence peers, business partners, and other key leaders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned</li> <li>Regular and punctual attendance</li> <li>Minimal travel required (less than 10%)</li> </ul> <p>#LI-MB1 #LI-Remote</p><div class="content-conclusion"><h3><strong>Additional Information </strong></h3> <p><strong>Work Environments</strong></p> <p>F&amp;G believes in an employee-centric flexible environment, which is why we offer the ability for in-office, hybrid and remote work arrangements.
