<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Senior QA Application Tester</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Washington, DC (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)</p> <p><strong>Clearance:</strong> Top Secret</p> <p><strong>Status:</strong> Exempt </p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong> $105,000 - $115,000</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About This Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Quality Assurance&nbsp;Application Testing&nbsp;Specialist to support&nbsp;The Department of Justice.  This division consists of a team of technical leaders that&nbsp;test and&nbsp;deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and&nbsp;our&nbsp;services&nbsp;support their mission of protecting national security. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p> <p><em>QA Management</em><em>  </em></p> <ul> <li>Develop scripts and execute various functionality tests for several software applications to validate code changes before promoting to production.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform pre-audit planning and preparation activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct internal process, work product and&nbsp;service&nbsp;audits by evaluating software development and&nbsp;service&nbsp;performance and deliverables against process documentation, project schedule, and quality standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform a variety of technical and administrative activities related to the function of QA, including, but not limited to, scheduling, checklist development, report writing, facilitating root cause/lessons learned analysis, and internal/external presentations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyze, compile, and report findings of non-compliance and provide recommendations for improvement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify, log, escalate, and track issues, lessons learned, non-conformances, and corrective actions to closure&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify opportunities for improvements, including the review and assessment of lessons learned&nbsp;</li> <li>Support corporate, program management, and operations staff in developing and maintaining documented plans, procedures and other process assets&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in institutionalizing risk management best practices and implementation throughout the organization and on the programs&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and maintain an annual QA&nbsp;plan&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and maintain annual Process Improvement Plan&nbsp;for all test activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and deliver QA personnel performance appraisals&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in proposal development&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide QA support to protégé and small business partners of the company&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain vendor relationships (ISO auditors, CMMI consultants, etc.) and direct vendor activities during work engagements&nbsp;</li> <li>Capture and analyze data and store the information according to records retention requirements&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyze and report various measures to program and corporate management.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports as requested&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure QA knowledge management tools are appropriately maintained&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>Change Management </em></p> <ul> <li>Evaluate change proposals to ensure related configuration items are addressed&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with corporate, program, and operational managers to embed process, procedure, and practice changes&nbsp;</li> <li>Support program Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB meetings and run such meetings for the&nbsp;corporate&nbsp;office&nbsp;</li> <li>Establish change&nbsp;management&nbsp;model and produce standard change templates&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct post implementation review of authorized and implemented changes&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>Configuration Management </em></p> <ul> <li>Create and track configuration change proposals&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with subject matter experts to ensure proposed configuration items (CIs) and CI modifications are correctly identified and documented for submittal to the change management process&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain information about CIs, CI relationships, CI traceability and status&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years’ experience managing&nbsp;the application testing and&nbsp;QA process&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experienced in quality management frameworks and standards such as CMMI, ITIL, and ISO&nbsp;</li> <li>Self-starter, detail oriented with strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and analytical skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to drive implementation; influence and promote organizational&nbsp;innovation&nbsp;</li> <li>Experienced in auditing processes,&nbsp;services, and management systems&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarization with technical terms related to System and Network Engineering&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to develop and deliver instructional guides and live training on processes and process assets&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines and adapt in a dynamic environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Experienced with SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Excel at an intermediate to advanced level&nbsp;</li> <li>Experienced with functionality of configuration management software&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate high integrity and appropriate judgment working with sensitive data&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to develop and deliver agendas, plans, processes, process assets, and reports accurately and on schedule&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes and process assets&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to travel&nbsp;to client site&nbsp;in Washington DC&nbsp;and pass the required background investigations to obtain appropriate clearance to work on sites, as required&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to gain staff buy-in on quality program activities, as well as function as an ambassador of continuous process improvement&nbsp;</li> <li>ISO 9001 and/or 20000-1 Requirements and Internal Auditor Certificates desired</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>IntelliDyne, LLC empowers government organizations through the delivery of quality, mission-aligned services and innovative, people-first IT solutions.
