About the role
<p>We’re looking for a QA Engineer who cares about product quality end-to-end. You’ll work on Coupler.io — a no-code data integration and analytics platform that provides instant access to 400+ sources and processes millions of records daily, helping ensure its reliability, accuracy, and smooth integrations.<br><br></p>
<p>You’ll focus on how the product works in real conditions: testing integrations, investigating edge cases, and resolving complex issues together with engineering, product, and support teams</p>
<h2>What are we looking for? </h2>
<p><strong>Testing & QA expertise: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience with manual testing and end-to-end validation</li>
<li>Experience in investigating customer issues and performing root cause analysis</li>
<li>Experience in API testing (working with docs + real behavior, identifying inconsistencies)</li>
<li>Experience in building and improving QA processes</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Technical skills:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including log analysis (CloudWatch, Logs Explorer)</li>
<li>Good understanding of networks, HTTP, APIs, and web/client architectures</li>
<li>Experience with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience using AI tools for workflow optimization</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Communication & mindset: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to translate technical concepts for different audiences (engineering ↔ non-technical)</li>
<li>Strong sense of ownership and accountability</li>
<li>Structured, detail-oriented approach</li>
<li>Fluent English (written and spoken)</li>
</ul>
<h2>Would be a plus</h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Playwright (TypeScript)</li>
</ul>
<h2>Your responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Analyze requirements, test functionality, and identify defects and edge cases</li>
<li>Own investigation of complex customer issues through L3 support, driving root cause resolution</li>
<li>Validate third-party API integrations across testing and production environments</li>
<li>Partner with engineering and product to resolve issues and improve system reliability</li>
<li>Improve QA practices and elevate debugging and investigation standards</li>
<li>Support releases and ensure stable rollouts with active post-release follow-up</li>
