we’re growing fast — and now expanding our Quality Engineering team in Pune City.</div> <div><strong>Role Overview</strong></div> <div>We are looking for engineers who have strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities across APIs, integrations, middleware systems, logs, and production environments within fast-paced enterprise SaaS ecosystems.</div> <div>The ideal candidate should also enjoy solving real-world problems through integrations and automation — connecting systems, validating seamless data movement, and building scalable test frameworks.</div> <div>The candidate should have <strong>5–8 years of experience</strong>&nbsp;in Integration Testing, System Testing, Non-Functional Testing (NFR), and Automation Engineering, along with <strong>1–2 years of test framework development or software development experience</strong>&nbsp;using <strong>Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python</strong>.</div> <div>This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone passionate about building modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.), architecting scalable quality engineering solutions, and driving intelligent automation across enterprise SaaS platforms.</div> <div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div> <div><strong>What You Will Do</strong></div> <ul> <li>Master the end-to-end business logic of our SaaS platform and translate complex functional requirements (FSDs) into high-fidelity automated test scenarios reflecting real-world customer flows.</li> <li>Enhance and manage test automation suites validating integrations between our SaaS platform and external systems (marketplaces, logistics, ERP).</li> <li>Design and develop automated test scripts validating scalable backend services.</li> <li>Validate APIs and data exchange systems (REST, messaging).</li> <li>Build and scale an automation-first testing suite using <strong>Playwright/TypeScript</strong>, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate automation development and improve engineering productivity.</li> <li>Integrate testing with observability tools (<strong>New Relic, Datadog</strong>) to analyze production logs and environment data, driving “Shift-Right” validation and simulating actual user behaviors.</li> <li>Implement self-healing mechanisms within the automation repository and lead NFR automation (Performance, Security, API reliability) to ensure production readiness.</li> <li>Own the integration of automated test suites into <strong>Jenkins/GitHub Actions</strong>&nbsp;pipelines, ensuring quality gates are triggered at every commit to prevent defect leakage.</li> <li>Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, upskilling them in AI-prompt engineering and modern “Quality as Code” practices.</li> <li>Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.</li> </ul> <div><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></div> <div><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></div> <ul> <li>Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities across APIs, integrations, middleware systems, logs, and production environments within enterprise SaaS ecosystems.</li> <li><strong>5–8 years of experience</strong>&nbsp;in Software Quality Engineering for high-scale SaaS products.</li> <li>Expert-level proficiency in <strong>Playwright or Cypress (TypeScript/JavaScript)</strong>&nbsp;with comfort in architecting distributed test execution.</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Integration and End-to-End testing</strong>.</li> <li>Experience validating messaging systems (<strong>Kafka, RabbitMQ</strong>, etc.).</li> <li>Strong understanding of API integrations and data formats (<strong>JSON, XML</strong>).</li> <li>Familiarity with authentication protocols (<strong>OAuth2, SAML</strong>).</li> <li>Hands-on experience using <strong>Generative AI</strong>&nbsp;for test data generation, automated PR reviews, and script refactoring.</li> <li>Ability to query and interpret logs from <strong>New Relic, Splunk, or Datadog</strong>&nbsp;to identify root causes and edge cases.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Performance testing</strong>&nbsp;(Playwright / JMeter) and basic <strong>Security testing</strong>&nbsp;(OWASP Top 10) integrated into automation workflows.</li> <li>Strong SQL skills and deep experience testing RESTful Microservices using automated tools.</li> <li>Ability to work closely with Scrum teams, Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to align on quality goals and ensure coverage of business-critical workflows.</li> <li>Represent QA in Agile ceremonies and participate in release readiness assessments.</li> <li>Monitor and drive quality metrics such as automation coverage, defect leakage, and test execution health.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills.</li> </ul> <div><strong>Good to Have</strong></div> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>SaaS, e-commerce, or logistics</strong>&nbsp;product domains.</li> <li>Experience integrating with platforms such as <strong>Amazon, Shopify</strong>, or similar.</li> <li>Interest or exposure to <strong>AI-assisted development tools</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>self-healing automation tools</strong>&nbsp;and AI/ML-based test optimization.</li> <li>Exposure to
