QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) - ERP Systems

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Automation

Specialist to ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of modern

e-commerce & real estate ecosystems. This role involves validating

complex, end-to-end digital commerce experiences across platforms

such as Shopify, WordPress, ERP systems, and custom-built solutions.

You will play a critical role in guaranteeing seamless customer journeys

across retail, re-commerce, and advanced commerce models used in

global digital operations. The ideal candidate combines strong

automation expertise with a deep understanding of e-commerce

workflows, ERP integrations, and system interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using:

○ Selenium

○ Cypress

○ Playwright

Implement data-driven and behavior-driven testing approaches

Ensure test reliability, maintainability, and re usability

End-to-End E-commerce Testing

Validate complete customer journeys:

○ Product discovery & search

○ Product detail pages (PDP)

○ Cart & checkout flows

○ Payment gateway integrations

○ Order confirmation, fulfillment, and tracking

Test multi-region, multi-currency, and localization scenarios

B2C & B2B Commerce System Validation

Verify core retail operations:

○ Inventory management and stock synchronization

○ Pricing logic, discounts, coupons, and promotions

○ Flash sales and high-traffic scenarios

Validate advanced commerce models:

○ Re-commerce (resale/refurbishment workflows)

○ Subscription-based purchases

○ Product bundling and dynamic pricing engines

○ Personalized recommendations and A/B testing flows

ERP & Enterprise Systems Validation

Validate ERP-integrated commerce workflows, including:

○ Inventory synchronization between ERP and storefronts

○ Order lifecycle management (orders, invoicing, fulfillment, returns)

○ Warehouse and logistics integrations

○ Finance/accounting data validation

○ Procurement and supplier workflows

Perform testing for ERP systems and enterprise platforms such as:

○ Microsoft Dynamics 365

○ Oracle NetSuite

○ Odoo

○ ERPNext

Ensure data consistency between ERP systems, APIs, storefronts, and

third-party services

Validate middleware and enterprise integrations with CRM, logistics,

payment gateways, and warehouse systems

API & Integration Testing

Perform API testing using tools like Postman

Validate microservices and third-party integrations (payments, logistics,

CRM, ERP)

Ensure data consistency across frontend, backend, and external

systems

Cross-Platform & Compatibility Testing

Conduct cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)

Perform responsive and mobile testing across devices and screen sizes

Validate headless commerce and PWA (Progressive Web App)

implementations

Performance, Security & Accessibility

Execute performance testing using tools like Google Lighthouse and

GTmetrix

Identify bottlenecks in page load, API response, and checkout

performance

Conduct basic security testing (OWASP awareness, input validation,

auth flows)

Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG guidelines)

Defect Management & Reporting

Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, designers, and

ERP teams

Provide actionable insights and quality metrics (test coverage, defect

leakage, etc.)

Core Skills

Strong expertise in JavaScript or Python for test automation

Deep understanding of:

○ QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC

○ Test case design and execution

○ Bug tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira)

Solid knowledge of:

○ Browser behavior and debugging tools

Experience in API testing and automation

Preferred Experience

Hands-on testing experience with:

○ Shopify

○ WordPress

○ Webflow

○ ERP Flows

Exposure to custom commerce stacks:

○ Node.js

○ Laravel

○ Headless commerce architectures

Experience working with ERP-integrated commerce environments

Understanding of:

○ Retail workflows (inventory lifecycle, pricing engines)

○ Re-commerce systems (grading, resale lifecycle)

○ Enterprise operational workflows and supply chain processes

Experience with:

○ Performance testing tools

○ Basic security testing practices

○ ERP-related integrations and data validation

Certifications (Highly Valued)

ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level

Selenium Automation Certification

Other recognized QA or automation certifications

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

High attention to detail and quality ownership

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Exposure to load testing tools (JMeter, k6)
