The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing processes, a basic understanding of databases (SQL &amp; MongoDB), cloud platforms (Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, SharePoint), and familiarity with Linux commands for debugging.</p> <h3><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Requirement Analysis:</strong> Understand project requirements and define testing scope</li> <li><strong>Test Planning &amp; Scenario Creation:</strong> Develop test plans, strategies, and scenarios</li> <li><strong>Test Case Design:</strong> Write detailed test cases covering functional and non-functional aspects</li> <li><strong>Test Execution:</strong> Perform functional, non-functional, regression, and retesting</li> <li><strong>Defect Reporting &amp; Tracking:</strong> Identify, document, and track defects to resolution</li> <li><strong>Regression Testing:</strong> Ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality</li> <li><strong>Final Validation &amp; Sign-off:</strong> Conduct final testing before software release</li> <li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with developers and stakeholders for quality assurance</li> <li><strong>Database Testing:</strong> Write basic SQL queries and MongoDB commands to validate data integrity</li> <li><strong>Cloud Testing:</strong> Perform basic validation of Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, and SharePoint integrations</li> </ul> <h3><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3+ years’ experience in manual software testing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with test management &amp; bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong understanding of Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, Functional, Non-function, Regression, Retesting, Smoke &amp; Sanity Testing</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with SQL queries &amp; MongoDB for data validation</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic knowledge of Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, and SharePoint</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of Linux commands for debugging and log analysis</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On-site with some flexibility</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Alternate Saturday working schedule</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>CrashPlan values workplace diversity and ensuring an environment of mutual respect.
