QA / QC Expeditor

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Expeditor is responsible for ensuring timely execution and delivery of turbine accessory modules (skids), piping spools, and associated equipment while maintaining full compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes (ASME/API/ISO).

The role bridges quality control, inspection coordination, and supplier expediting, ensuring that manufacturing, documentation, and inspection release are aligned with project schedules. Finally assures that all the turbine auxiliary skids and piping systems are fabricated as per code, inspected without delays, and dispatched on time with full documentation compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Expediting – Inspection & Delivery Control – Track skid fabrication, piping spools, and bought-out items to ensure timely delivery.
• Plan and coordinate stage inspections, packing release, and shipping release.
• Monitor QC inspection progress at fabrication partner locations across engineering, procurement, assembly, testing, and dispatch stages.
• Identify risks to delivery (material shortage, rework, inspection delays).
• Expedite vendors to meet contractual dates.
• Travel to fabricator locations as required.
• QA/QC Compliance Monitoring – Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and related documents.
• Monitor inspections for critical processes such as welding, NDT, and painting.
• Coordinate with fabrication partners to expedite final documentation and support timely MDR completion.
• Ensure all non-conformities are closed before shipment.
  

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in manufacturing or project-based environments.
• Familiarity with QA / QC documentation.
