This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong piping and welding knowledge who thrives in a collaborative, shop environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality, compliance, and project execution by partnering closely with engineering, construction, fabrication, and NDE teams.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review and interpret <strong>weld maps and isometric drawings</strong></li> <li>Perform <strong>weld and piping inspections</strong> to ensure compliance with specs and procedures</li> <li>Manage and track <strong>welding/inspection data</strong> in project systems</li> <li>Support <strong>pressure testing plans</strong> and coordinate with NDE/NDT teams</li> <li>Review and file <strong>inspection reports and documentation packages</strong></li> <li>Conduct <strong>welder testing</strong> and verify welding procedures</li> <li>Develop and implement <strong>Quality Assurance Plans and ITPs</strong></li> <li>Lead or support <strong>root cause analysis and corrective actions</strong></li> <li>Provide <strong>training and guidance</strong> to inspectors and team members</li> <li>Ensure strict adherence to <strong>safety standards and Loenbro core values</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong experience with <strong>piping systems and weld inspection</strong></li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>NDE/NDT processes and QA/QC standards</strong></li> <li>Proven ability to manage documentation and project turnover</li> <li>Team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.</em></p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification</li> <li>Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours</li> <li>Experience generating turnover packages</li> <li>Proficiency In reading and Interpreting drawings</li> <li>Knowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)</li> <li>5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience</li> <li>Experience working under a Quality Management Program</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment</li> <li>High organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p> <p>The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
