Endless possibilities.</p></div><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>As a <strong>Quality Assurance</strong> <strong>Tester, </strong>you will be responsible for testing, planning, and working closely with the team of developers to ensure the product meets all quality standards. This position requires availability to <strong>5 days a week in-client office - Hong Kong based.</strong></p> <p><strong><br></strong><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Creating, reviewing, updating test plans &amp; test cases for web and mobile applications. based on functional specifications and requirements.</li> <li>Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure high-quality deliverables.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to clarify requirements and gather feedback.</li> <li>Report, track, and manage defects using appropriate bug tracking tools</li> <li>Perform regression testing to validate that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.</li> <li>Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices across the organization.</li> <li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and defect logs.</li> <li>Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li> <li>3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on writing and executing test cases.</li> <li>Communicate clearly and articulately testing progress and issues raised, including escalations as required.</li> <li>Understanding the quality assurance discipline, the defect lifecycle management processes, and the software commonly used for test planning and defect tracking (eg. Jira, Bugzilla, etc.);</li> <li>Experience in developing test plans, writing test scripts, developing use cases,&nbsp; executing test team activities, and assisting business users through user acceptance test processes;<br>knowledge in automation testing is a plus</li> <li>Knowledge of software quality tools; web/mobile application testing; Windows OS, Mac OS, Mobile OS (Android, iOS);</li> <li>Understanding of web/mobile application technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Python, Java, Ruby, etc;</li> <li>Understanding of user-centric design principles, content, navigation, usability, behavioural analytics tagging, accessibility, SEO, localization/multi-lingual and personalization considerations;</li> <li>Understanding of accessibility principles, standards, compliance, testing and validation;</li> <li>Understanding of cloud computing architecture, services and platforms;</li> <li>Fluency in English and Cantonese</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT DOES APPNOVATION HAVE TO OFFER?</strong></p> <p>Appnovation’s development teams are collaborative, friendly and open, and with varied work.
