About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of software.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Perform regression testing after updates or bug fixes.
- Conduct performance and security testing.
- Verify client requirements are met.
- Test user interfaces for functionality and design consistency.
- Prepare reports on test results and product quality.
- Stay updated on QA tools and methodologies for continuous improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete).
- Proficiency in bug tracking software like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
