Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.</p></div><p><strong><u>Essential Job Duties will include:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Main point of contact for suppliers and supplier related issues in the facility</li> <li>Site coordinator of defective packaging material database</li> <li>Working with Packaging team to determine the root cause of supplier packaging problems</li> <li>Pursuance of timely compliance with packaging suppliers to ensure response of SCAR’s</li> <li>Reporting out on supplier quality metrics</li> <li>Sampling of incoming materials/ingredients to assure compliance with company standards</li> <li>Verification of product labelling against standards and sample retention. Monitoring of system to assure label accuracy and conversions as needed.</li> <li>Review of incoming material COA, COC docs to company standards</li> <li>Support QA Management with product HOLD sampling and reporting to site management</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>BS/BA in related science</li> <li>2-5 years of manufacturing experience required</li> <li>Experience in a food manufacturing preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, dairy standards and CIP sanitation.</li> <li>Strong Computer Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)</li> <li>Ability to work well with people.</li> <li>Communication skills are a must.</li> <li>Multi-tasked Individual.</li> <li>Ability to work independently.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments.
