Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester Key Skills: Software tests, Architecture, Upstream applications, SDLC Location: Brazil Mode: Remote We at Coforge are hiring Quality Assurance Tester with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.</li><li>Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality.</li><li>Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories.</li><li>Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria.</li><li>Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality.</li><li>Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing.</li><li>Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows.</li><li>Define, create and maintain Test environments.</li><li>Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories.</li><li>Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality.</li><li>Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion.</li><li>Track Bugs through resolution and implementation.</li><li>Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition.</li></ul> Required Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred).</li><li>Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications).</li><li>Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including: <ul><li>Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring </li><li>Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis</li></ul></li><li>Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.</li><li>Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.</li><li>Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc. </li><li>ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional).</li><li>Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA).</li><li>Comfortable with Agile methodologies.</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills. </li></ul>  Posted On: 14-05-2026 At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.
