About the role
<h6><strong><span data-contrast="none">As a QC Inspector, you are the eyes and hands of Suitsupply’s quality function on the factory floor. Permanently embedded at a production facility, you will perform final random inspections on all active production styles to ensure every garment meets Suitsupply’s exacting standards before it leaves the factory. This role is central to our Phase 1 model — one dedicated inspector per factory, building deep knowledge of that facility’s processes and quality performance over time. Working closely with factory inspectors and technicians, you will build trusted partnerships that drive continuous quality improvement.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":160}"> </span></strong></h6>
<h5><strong>What you will do </strong></h5>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Perform final random inspections (FRI, Stage 5) on finished goods in accordance with AQL sampling plans and Suitsupply inspection criteria.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Evaluate garments against approved PP samples, tech packs, and workmanship standards.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Classify and document defects accurately (critical, major, minor) with photographic evidence.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Receive and review factory in-line QC reports for visibility and early risk identification (Stage 4).</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Communicate inspection results to factory management and follow up on corrective actions.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Submit regular inspection reports to the regional QC Manager.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Contribute to Stage 7 data collection: accurate defect logging to feed factory scorecards.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Build strong working relationships with factory production and QC teams.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Flag systemic quality issues or production risks to the QC Manager promptly.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Support Phase 2 factory capability development over time.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Compare AQL results with the factory’s own AQL results and identify discrepancies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Review AQL and factory performance on a regular basis and assist in improvement plans (e.g. improving rework rates through more technical in-line assistance).</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Assist in bulk fabric inspections and report any issues such as colour shading.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>

<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">2+ years of experience in garment quality inspection, ideally within menswear, tailoring, or shirts.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Solid knowledge of garment construction, common defect types, and AQL inspection standards.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Ability to read and interpret tech packs and garment specifications.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Good written and spoken English for reporting to the regional QC Manager.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Local language proficiency relevant to factory location.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Sharp and consistent eye for garment quality and workmanship.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":40,"335559739":40}"> </span></li>
