Senior Quality Engineer

Job Duties:

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding product quality aspects
• Occasionally travel to factories for audits and provide supplier evaluations
• Conduct final inspections and follow up on customer complaints
• Review and update group general specifications and test methods
• Coordinate and supervise the QC team to monitor product quality from the sampling stage to final inspection
• Manage quality-related documents, including sample test reports, certificates of analysis, compliance documentation, and supporting documents (REACH, food grade, Prop 65, etc.)
• Collaborate with the development team during NPD to identify critical points and specifications, ensuring the developed product meets company standards
• Provide guidance to internal and external staff on quality standards and inspection procedures, following company guidelines
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of inspection systems and procedures
• Drive continuous improvements in quality processes
• Collaborate on quality assurance with the development and sourcing teams to address products that fail during testing

Requirements:

• Degree in Quality Management, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years in QA/QC, with 3+ years at the Engineer level in packaging
• Familiarity with global regulations (GMP, ISO 9001) for cosmetics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, organized, and responsible
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Willingness to travel
• Candidates with less experience but growth potential may be considered for a Quality Engineer role
