About the role
*To ensure all our products meet contracted pp standards.
*Drive ‘End 2 End’ (E2E) production process, Inc. pre-production process, in-line QC and end of line inspections to ensure clear understanding and compliance of KAS quality standards.
*Train, conduct and support the compliance to AS’s Final Statistical Inspection (FSI) process for AS tms and nominated Self Inspection Factory (FCA) and 3rd party inspections.
*Guide and develop defect analysis and root cause prevention using DSS plus and supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) and data sources.
*Validate inspection integrity with the FCA and monitor the progress of skip inspections on a timely basis with the PU management.
*Drive the application of the AS Quality Manual/guidelines MMS and HTM at supplier and third party and factory level.
*Support platform inspection as necessary
*Support and monitor PU product safety processes inc. needle and sharp tool controls, metal detection and all aspect of child safety testing according to Kmart standards.
*To ensure the factory have all development and QA sample reports and good records of corrections to contracted agreed standard, guidance notes to be shared at the PPM.
*To ensure that the correct seal sample, trim card, complete Quality Master file and factory pre shipment are available and functioning correctly.
* Associate degree or above in business admin or Apparel part related.
* 5-7 years of Footwear experience, previous experience with large retailers is beneficial.
* Detailed knowledge of footwear materials and related product construction.
* Factory production knowledge and fitting of the footwear.
* Technical engineering and quality skills.
* Computer skill and Knowledge of Quality Management and Product Safety.
* Mature, self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility.
* Ability to work under minimum supervision, manage multi-tasks, set priorities, work with diverse background of people from different levels.
* Good command in both written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
* Responsible, detail-oriented, flexible and good team player.
* Ability in problem solving.
