Quality Inspector

This role focuses on objective, instrument-based testing that generates accurate data for evaluation.</p> <p>If you are driven to elevate quality standards and strengthen operational performance that support business success — we want to meet you.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What can you expect to do?</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Product Inspection: </strong>Conduct quality inspections on electronic components and related products to verify compliance with required standards.</li> <li><strong>Testing &amp; Verification: </strong>Utilize advanced inspection tools, equipment, and methodologies to confirm products meet customer specifications and quality expectations.</li> <li><strong>Documentation &amp; Reporting: </strong>Accurately record inspection results, supporting data, and evidence within Velocity’s ERP system.</li> <li><strong>Visual Evidence Preparation: </strong>Capture and organize photographic documentation to support inspection findings and quality records.</li> <li><strong>Quality Coordination: </strong>Collaborate with Quality Managers to ensure all requested inspections and tests are completed accurately and on time.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Communication: </strong>Communicate and explain inspection results to Quality Managers and, when necessary, partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma</li> <li>1+ year of Experience handling electronic components and/or inspection/quality assurance</li> <li>Working knowledge of handling electronic components</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.</li> <li>Basic photography and photo editing skills</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why Join Us:</strong></p> <p>At Velocity Electronics, our core values—Be Amazing Today, Demonstrate Mutual Respect and Trust, Act Courageously, and Own Your Outcomes—drive our success.
