<p><strong>Title: </strong>Quality Specialist - Project Lead<br><strong>Location: </strong>Bridgewater, NJ<br><strong>Company:&nbsp;</strong>Fortune 100 Food &amp; Beverage Manufacturing&nbsp;<em>(FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)<br></em><strong>Initial term: </strong>2 years<br><strong>Schedule: </strong>M-F 8am - 5pm<br><br></p> <p><strong>About This Role:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>Guardian of Quality and Compliance by Design following the quality requirements and deliverables for Idea to Launch (I2L) Innovation/Renovation projects. This person will be the quality representative for CAT 1, 2, and 3 projects, as assigned, and responsible for the creation pHACCP and rMMS (Quality monitoring piece) for new products/technology development in order to ensure full compliance to quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.</p> <p><strong><br>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Be part of the Internal Audit Team and other initiatives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Project team member engaged in Innovation/Renovation projects assuring Quality function I2L deliverables throughout project stages.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform food safety assessments and develop pHACCP and rMMS new product/technology projects, including support to factories for implementation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure quality and food safety technical knowledge transfer to operations through engagement, training, and handover of projects.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide training to all functions which need to have an insight into quality and safety, and which need to implement quality and safety in their own job deliverables.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure full compliance to standards and regulatory requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Promote compliance with system requirements and other applicable standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Member of the Internal Audit Team, responsible for auditing processes and areas according to the Internal Audit Plan.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support visits from regulatory bodies, such as FDA or USDA, and external certification bodies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support preparation efforts to obtain ISO and NMS certifications.</p> </li> <li>Provide technical assistance to quality functions in factories and application groups</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry Engineer, Food Science, or equivalent)</p> </li> <li>Experience in food industry in quality, R&amp;D, or manufacturing areas</li> <li> <p>Demonstrated competence to support business requirements:<br>- Team member in the quality department of a factory, PTC/R&amp;D, Centre, NR, NQACs<br>- HACCP team member<br>- ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certification is preferred<br>- Ingredient specifications<br>- Experience with quality by design</p> <p>Business Experience:<br>- Leading part of a change effort<br>- Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects<br>- Establishing networks of peers, in markets or factories</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <ul class="mt3 pl4 t-14 featured-benefits__benefit-list"> <li class="featured-benefits__benefit">$32.00 per hour + overtime</li> <li class="featured-benefits__benefit">Medical insurance</li> <li class="featured-benefits__benefit">Dental insurance</li> <li class="featured-benefits__benefit">Vision insurance</li> <li class="featured-benefits__benefit">401(k)</li> <li class="featured-benefits__benefit">Disability insurance<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>About FuseGlobal:<br></strong><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">FuseGlobal is a partnership of people and brand-leading companies, working together to make things run better.
