The system is designed to enhance visibility into global equity opportunities and improve the firm’s ability to assess risk and reward. You’ll work on a real-time, always-on application, delivering iteratively in close collaboration with internal stakeholders. This is a fast-paced environment where technical ownership and user feedback shape the evolution of the platform.</p> <p><strong>Your future role within QRT</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li> <p>Build a real-time application for capturing and analysing investment trade ideas from external sources</p> </li> <li> <p>Design and operate a high-availability system with continuous data ingestion and processing</p> </li> <li> <p>Deliver iterative improvements in close collaboration with end users and stakeholders</p> </li> <li> <p>Own architectural and design decisions with an eye on long-term business outcomes</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to the evolution of the tech stack in line with platform needs and QRT-wide engineering standards</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Your present skillset</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li> <p>2+ years of experience as a software engineer</p> </li> <li> <p>Expertise in C# or a similar compiled, strongly typed, object-oriented language; willingness to work in C# is essential</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align development with business priorities</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable gathering requirements from stakeholders and collaborating with the team to ship features</p> </li> <li> <p>The following would be beneficial:</p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li> <p>Experience working in a trading or front-office environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of distributed systems, observability, and system design principles</p> </li> <li>Exposure to AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><em>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
