About the role
Ontime Healthcare is actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator who is available to join immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle in healthcare fitout and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities for healthcare fitout projects.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to evaluate scope and cost implications.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to monitor costs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify quantities and work progress.
- Maintain up-to-date cost databases and industry benchmarks.
- Assist in contract negotiations and change order evaluations.
- Provide regular cost reports and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator, preferably in healthcare and fitout projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, construction methods, and contract management.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying and cost estimating software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability to join.
