R&D Manager EMEA

<h2><strong>Your Role in Our Story:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p>This is a full-time role for an experienced manager in clean energy regulation, responsible for ensuring that ACT can develop innovative new market-based products, suitable for the region, that enable end-to-end, sustainable decarbonization. Reporting to the Global Director, R&amp;D and Sustainability. The role is based in Amsterdam, and requires occasional travel, both within Europe and to other destinations. In essence, your role involves:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and deliver a complex portfolio of innovative products for EMEA that is informed by regional and national regulatory developments and sustainability standards and guidance. The emphasis is on Europe.</li> <li>Manage and develop of a team of experts in regulation and environmental product development that is focused on the EMEA region.</li> <li>Develop and share regulatory intelligence and deep technical understanding of supply/demand fundamentals of carbon and renewable energy markets with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Facilitate transactions, support commercial teams, and provide input into industry and regulatory processes.</li> <li>Collaborate globally on product development with other regional R&amp;D teams, and other teams within ACT as appropriate.</li> <li>Represent ACT at eg, trade association meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Your Expertise, Our Shared Success:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p>To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>10+ years’ work experience that provides a deep understanding of clean energy regulation markets in the region – renewable energy, fuels, and carbon markets.</li> <li>High commercial acumen with a strong track record of using regulations to inform the development of new products.</li> <li>Proven ability to develop, motivate, and nurture a talented team of specialists</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li> <li>A commercial and creative mindset, strong collaboration skills</li> <li>Fluency in English is expected; additional fluency in French, German, or Italian is helpful.</li> <li>University educated, ideally with post-graduate qualification having a strong analytical component</li> </ul> <p>If you meet these criteria and are ready to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment, we encourage you to apply.</p>
