About the role
<p>We are looking for a <strong>friendly and professional Receptionist</strong> to be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. In this role, you will greet guests, manage incoming calls, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a welcoming and professional office environment.</p>
<p>You may also support other office services such as <strong>mail/shipping, hospitality, and general office operations</strong>, making you a key part of delivering a seamless workplace experience.</p>

<p>Location: <strong>North Reading, MA</strong></p>
<p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide a <strong>5-star customer service experience</strong>.</li>
<li>Manage visitor registration, temporary badges, and ensure <strong>NDA compliance</strong> for all guests.</li>
<li>Route calls efficiently and assist employees with inquiries or service requests.</li>
<li>Support <strong>mail and package handling</strong>, including receiving, sorting, and notifying employees of deliveries.</li>
<li>Assist with <strong>meeting room scheduling, event setups, and basic office administrative tasks</strong>.</li>
<li>Help maintain office areas such as <strong>reception, pantry, and conference rooms</strong> in a clean and organized condition.</li>
<li>Monitor and replenish <strong>office and pantry supplies</strong> as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What we need from you</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>1–3 years of experience</strong> in receptionist, concierge, administrative, or customer service roles.</li>
<li>Strong <strong>communication and customer service skills</strong> with a professional attitude and appearance.</li>
<li>Ability to <strong>multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively</strong>.</li>
<li>Comfortable using <strong>MS Office, phone systems, and basic office equipment</strong>.</li>
<li>High level of <strong>integrity, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.</li>
<li>Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.</li>
<li>Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).</li>
<li>Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.</li>
</ul>
