About the role
<p><strong>At Family of Kidz we are growing in leaps and bounds and are busier than ever! Are you a people person? We are looking for a new member of our Talent Acquisition Team. This position will help us find other great candidates to join our rapidly growing company!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Details about this opportunity:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Job Type: Full-time</li>
<li>Compensation - $25-$30/hour</li>
<li>Hybrid - mostly remote work, meetings in the Westbury office on occasion.</li>
<li>Responsible for all Company recruiting efforts including, but not limited to, ad and job boards copy and placement; identification of possible candidates for internal transfers; initial screening and interviewing of applicants</li>
<li>Responsible for managing hiring managers’ hiring requests to establish recruiting requirements for each open position. Review job description with manager to define position requirements.</li>
<li>Composes and posts internal / external job postings.</li>
<li>Creates and maintains phone, in-person, and prescreen questions.</li>
<li>Attends job fairs </li>
<li>Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, verifying references, schedules qualified applicants with appropriate manager.</li>
<li>Makes verbal offer of employment and upon acceptance, sends new hire intake request to HR for on-boarding</li>

<p><strong>If you have these attributes:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>High School degree or GED equivalent.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting.</li>
<li>Successful work history in handling confidential personal data.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong team player and commitment to promoting Company values.</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and produce results in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office suite, general knowledge of mobile device use and applications.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ADP/ Greenhouse a plus</li>
<li>Interest in pursuing additional training in Recruiting practices </li>
