About the role
What are you going to do?
In this role, you will support the full-cycle recruiting process by assisting with preliminary phone screens to evaluate candidates’ knowledge, skills, abilities, and cultural fit across a variety of positions. You will partner closely with the Director of Human Resources and hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruiting and staffing strategies aligned with current and future business needs. Responsibilities include analyzing job descriptions and comparing them against candidate qualifications from resumes and platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed to ensure alignment with minimum requirements. You will provide recommendations on candidate progression following interviews and coordinate second and third-round interviews for management.
Additionally, you will actively source and engage engineering talent through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs. You will assist with recruitment events as needed and gather candidate feedback throughout the interview process, sharing insights related to role expectations, market compensation, and benefits. This role also involves tracking candidate progress through the internal interview process, staying informed on CNC machinery and steel industry trends, and applying best practices in engineering recruitment, along with performing other duties as assigned by management.
We ask
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects at the same time
At least 3 years of professional experience in recruiting required, experience in hiring for engineering roles a huge plus
A valid driver's license and passport in case of travel abroad
Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal.
Being able to speak, read, and write the English language required
Computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, etc.) at least two years
