[Summary]
- Partners with client-facing recruiters and hiring leaders to understand role requirements and drive targeted search strategies
- Executes search strategies across applicants, employee referrals, and direct sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms
- Conducts thorough candidate screens to assess fit for Samsung and specific roles, providing a realistic job preview
- Presents candidate recommendations and slate reports to hiring leaders to kick off formal interviews
- Acts as a trusted SME on competitor and market dynamics for assigned positions
[Duties and Responsibilities]
- Partners closely with client-facing recruiters and hiring leaders to deeply understand the requirements of the role and how it fits into the organization, driving the search strategy to deliver qualified candidate slates
- Executes search strategies across all candidate channels including applicants, employee referral campaigns, and direct search via LinkedIn Recruiter and other social platforms
- Finds and engages active and passive candidates using Samsung Careers and LinkedIn Recruiter as well as additional tools as required
- Conducts thorough screens to assess candidate fit for Samsung and the role while providing a realistic job preview to candidates
- Presents and makes candidate recommendations to hiring leaders and client-facing recruiters to kick off the formal interviewing process, providing a seamless transition from sourcer to recruiter
- Acts as a trusted SME regarding competitor and market dynamics relative to the positions assigned
- Accountable for reporting and administrative functions related to the role including candidate slate reports, job description editing, and candidate presentations
- Conducts all recruiting assignments and activities in compliance with company policies and government regulations
[Skills & Qualifications]
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, related field, or equal work experience
- 5-10 years of experience in a staffing agency environment or corporate HR recruiting function
- Successful track record of delivering qualified and vetted candidates by aligning them to position requirements for optimal fit
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, government regulations, professional best practices, and industry trends as they apply to HR staffing
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data relative to an HR function
- Computer skills with Microsoft business applications, staffing software packages, Internet sources, and HRIS systems including Workday and Excel
- Self-driven with a sense of urgency; takes initiative and works with an accelerated pace to enable the business to meet its goals
- Creative and flexible; ability to pivot with change and creatively problem solve with flexible thinking
- Strong critical thinking skills; thinks outside given parameters and seeks more effective ways of accomplishing tasks
