MidPen is, once again, proud to be certified as an official Great Place to Work® in 2025.</div>Location: Union City Office  Regional Maintenance Manager  Join our Facilities team as a Regional Maintenance Manager and lead the physical maintenance operations across a regional portfolio of affordable housing communities. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, you will oversee Area Maintenance Leads while ensuring our properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained for the 20,000 residents we serve. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on housing quality and resident satisfaction while advancing your career in facilities management within a mission-driven organization.  Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and supervise Area Maintenance Leads across assigned regional portfolio to ensure effective team performance and professional development</li> <li>Manage completion of work orders through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain high service standards and responsiveness </li> <li>Conduct routine property inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure safety, compliance, and asset preservation </li> <li>Monitor compliance with HUD, REAC, and affordable housing regulatory standards through systematic inspections and corrective actions </li> <li>Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and Facilities Coordinators to align maintenance priorities and support capital project execution </li> <li>Manage third-party vendor relationships including bidding, contracting, and quality control to optimize service delivery and costs </li> <li>Oversee regional maintenance budgets, inventory controls, and operational costs to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency </li> <li>Ensures small capital projects assigned to the properties are completed </li> <li>Supports Area Maintenance Leads with property damage incidents, including but limited to water and fire mitigation, hazmat control, restoration work, and bid walks </li> <li>Serve as technical advisor on building systems and mentor maintenance staff to support their professional growth and skill development </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in multi-site facilities or maintenance management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities </li> <li>Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems </li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in maintenance, facilities management, or construction management preferred </li> <li>Experience in affordable housing, property management, or related field strongly preferred </li> <li>Proficiency in CMMS software and MS Office Suite for effective work order management and reporting </li> <li>Reliable transportation to and from various work locations and occasional job-related travel is required. </li> <li>Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across departments </li> <li>Physical ability to perform maintenance-related activities including lifting, walking, bending, and climbing ladders, with regular travel to multiple sites </li> </ul> Pay Range $105,000 - $115,000 Annual Salary - Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications<div class="content-conclusion">Benefits and Compensation (see <a href="https://grnhse-use1-prod-s9-ghr.s3.amazonaws.com/generic_attachments/attachments/400/671/300/original/2026-MidPen-Benefits-Guide.pdf?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=AKIAVQGOLGY3WOWBGVH4%2F20260508%2Fus-east-1%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20260508T223148Z&X-Amz-Expires=604800&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&X-Amz-Signature=db07c386a1497f5ad2c363aa22384a7fc0f05099316c1da18c3e827d3fb433b5">here for full details</a>) <ul> <li>Health Insurance </li> <li>Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance</li> <li>403(b) Retirement Investment</li> <li>Employee Education Reimbursement Program</li> <li>Paid Parental Leave</li> <li>FSA for Childcare, Medical, and Commuter Benefits</li> <li>EAP Program</li> <li>Pet Insurance</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Company Holidays</li> <li>Wellness Days</li> </ul> EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MidPen Housing Corp. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
