Here, you are not just joining a workplace, you are becoming part of a mission that truly matters.</p></div><p>Summary</p> <p>The Regional Nurse Administrator provides operational, clinical, and administrative leadership and support for nursing and medical assistant practice across multiple Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) sites. This role works closely with medical, operational, and quality leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, patient care that aligns with FQHC standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.</p> <p>The Regional Nurse Administrator oversees clinical nursing workflows, nurse and MA scope of practice, competency validation, staffing support, and mentorship for clinical personnel. This individual is a key leader in standardizing clinical operations and advancing team performance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <p>· Provide leadership and oversight of clinical nursing and medical assistant practice across multiple clinical locations.</p> <p>· Develop, implement, and standardize evidence-based clinical workflows, nursing protocols, and MA procedures.</p> <p>· Participate in development and training of nurses and medical assistants in collaboration with the Clinical Education team</p> <p>· Ensure efficient clinic flow and coordination of care.</p> <p>· Manage nursing personnel schedules to ensure adequate coverage of nursing duties.</p> <p>· Support organizational quality initiatives related to HEDIS, UDS, value-based care, PCMH, and other population health metrics.</p> <p>· Monitor compliance with state nursing practice regulations and ensure appropriate scope of practice for nursing and medical assistant personnel.</p> <p>· Analyze clinical performance and productivity through chart reviews, call audits, and other performance data and implement improvement plans.</p> <p>· Promote adherence to standing orders, clinical documentation, and care management protocols.</p> <p>· Promote equitable, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed patient care practices.</p> <p>· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>· Direct supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses as assigned.</p> <p>· Oversight of medical assistant clinical practice and skills.</p> <p>· Assist with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention for nursing personnel.</p> <p>· Conduct performance evaluations for assigned personnel.</p> <p>· Provide coaching, mentoring, and corrective action when needed in collaboration with Human Resources.</p> <p>· Ensure clinical competencies, certifications, and annual training remain current for assigned nursing personnel.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.</p> <p>· Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.</p> <p>· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.</p> <p>· A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience required.</p> <p>· Experience supervising nursing and/or medical assistants in ambulatory care settings required.</p> <p>· Experience in community health centers, FQHCs, primary care, pediatrics, or population health strongly preferred.</p> <p>· Experience in leading quality improvement initiatives.</p> <p>· Experience with nursing telephone triage.</p> <p>· Knowledge of ambulatory care operations, team-based care models, and care management principles.</p> <p>· Knowledge of FQHC requirements, HRSA, CLIA, VFC, and regulatory standards governing FQHCs.</p> <p>· Ability to analyze operational and clinical data to drive improvement.</p> <p>· Experience with Electronic Health Records and clinical reporting tools.</p> <p>· Knowledge of PCMH requirements preferred.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Computer Skills</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel), Electronic Medical and Health records, and other applications.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
