Role description:

The Regional Procurement Business Partner is responsible for building, developing, and leading a team of Procurement Analysts that delivers both indirect and direct procurement support across Service Lines and Enabling Functions throughout Europe. This role drives a strategic and disciplined approach to supplier spend and supplier management, with a focus on reducing total cost of ownership, optimizing and rationalizing the supply base, and enhancing supplier quality, service performance, and compliance. The Regional Procurement Business Partner applies deep expertise in procurement principles, practices, and methodologies within the engineering and construction industry to ensure effective, value-driven procurement outcomes. 

Role accountabilities:

• Lead, train and grow a team of procurement professional responsible for procurement activities across Europe. 
• Manage full contract lifecycle, including renewals and amendments 
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and improvement plans 
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks 
• Ensure adherence to and support Procurement policies, procedures, and systems to implement a uniform method of work approaches that delivers exceptional performance values for Arcadis and its clients. 
• Conduct cost analyses of 3rd party spend to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Implement cost optimization initiatives in alignment with business priorities.
• Collaborate with Business Area leads, Pursuit Leads and the Regional Procurement Director on cost efficiencies and procurement improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong experience in sourcing strategy and complex negotiations  
• Expertise in supplier relationship management  
• Deep knowledge of direct and indirect procurement processes end-to-end  
• Understanding of contract law (construction, subcontracting, consultancy)  
• Ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders  
• Strong advocacy for procurement within the business 
• Experience leading high performing procurement teams  
• Strong proficiency in English is required; additional language capabilities in Dutch, French, German, or Italian are preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is 205,500-308,300 RON.
