The Behavior Exchange is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence® - providing ABA Therapy and autism care. The Behavior Exchange offers individualized, early-start therapy and education programs for children with autism spectrum disorders, behavioral issues, developmental delays, and other special needs. Our ABA therapists also work with teachers and parents to ensure they are using the proper ABA techniques needed to help children improve their behavior. </span></p>

<p class="ignore-global-css"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong class="ignore-global-css">What you will do:</strong></span></p>
<p class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css" style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The RBT is a paraprofessional responsible for the direct implementation of behavior analytic services under the close supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT only follows intervention or assessment plans created by the supervising BCBA. The supervising BCBA determines and assigns tasks for the RBT to perform as a function of his/her training, experience, and competency levels. </span></p>

<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in the implementation of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP), created by the BCBA to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in implementation of daily data collection.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in entering data collected and updating graphs, along with reporting data to supervising BCBA.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA, such as the ABC (antecedent, behavior, consequence) data collection.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prepare and implement all materials for all sessions as directed by the skill acquisition program.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Implement appropriate teaching procedures and interventions based on behavior modification determined by the supervising BCBA.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Store all notes, data collection, graphs, and other documentation in designated software system in compliance with HIPPA.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain visual supervision of the child at all NEVER leaves a child unattended.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Speak in a well-modulated, pleasant, and caring voice to children, parents, and staff.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Represent the program to parents, visitors, and the public in a positive way.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and sanitary learning environment by ensuring that children are kept clean and toys and other materials get disinfected each day.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Display concern for the rights of children and families served by the clinic.</span></li>

<li class="ignore-global-css" style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Receive ongoing supervision and comply with BACB’s ethics requirements.</span></li>
