About the role

Then welcome to our unit!
We are a 3-bed Adult Progressive Care Unit attached to a 32 bed medical surgical unit
Full or part time schedules are available depending on candidate preference.
L4WD Inpatient Surgery is a collaborative unit that cares for complex surgical patients. Home to thoracic, vascular, kidney transplant and general surgery patients (typically either laparoscopic or major abdominal procedures), the population is diverse and challenging. Our nurse-to-patient ratios are very attractive and Licensed Nursing Assistants are also part of our collaborative team.
As a member of the L4WD team you will assess, plan, organize, provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process. In addition, you will make nursing judgments and decisions and will be responsible for nursing care and documentation. We use a shared (team/self) scheduling model to coordinate schedules which include 12-hour shifts.
