Together, we’ll make 2026 a year of growth, fulfillment, and extraordinary care at&nbsp;The Village at Rockville.</p> <p><strong>Why you’ll love being here</strong></p> <ul> <li>Leadership with impact: Lead, support, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional, person-centered care every day.</li> <li>Collaborative culture: Partner with an engaged interdisciplinary team that values your clinical judgment and leadership.</li> <li>Stability and consistency: Full-time schedule that allows you to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.</li> <li>Competitive pay: Compensation that reflects your experience, plus applicable shift differentials.</li> <li>Growth and support: Work in an environment that encourages professional development, learning, and advancement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment with NLCS.</li> <li>CPR and First Aid certifications required.</li> <li>Knowledge, experience, and proficiency with COMAR, Office of Health Care Quality, and CMS guidelines a plus.</li> <li>Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Licensed/Registered Nurse scope of practice.</li> <li>Experience in geriatric and/or subacute nursing, including medication and treatment administration, and unit and/or house supervision.</li> <li>Proven, positive leadership skills essential.</li> <li>Experience with computer-based electronic medical records required.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to partner, communicate, coach, and counsel direct report team members.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure the highest degree of quality resident care is delivered and maintained at all times.</li> <li>Provide strong supervision, performance management, leadership, and coaching for nursing staff.</li> <li>Train and onboard nursing team members, ensuring they understand and uphold NLCS standards of service excellence and nursing practice.</li> <li>Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify opportunities to improve resident care and implement appropriate changes.</li> <li>Monitor staffing, unit activities, and acuity; work with the Staffing Coordinator, ADON, and Care Coaches to ensure safe and appropriate coverage.</li> <li>Conduct regular rounds on assigned units to monitor resident activity, care quality, and overall environment, including rotating weekends and holidays.</li> <li>Verify care activity and documentation to ensure nursing care is provided according to physician orders, care plans, standards, and facility policies.</li> <li>Ensure safe, accurate medication administration consistent with nursing standards and NLCS procedures.</li> <li>Review and support accurate completion of resident assessments, MDS, and individualized plans of care; participate in and/or direct care plan conferences.</li> <li>Review and maintain infection control, wound, lab, and related logs to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Hold regular coaching conversations and conduct stay interviews with team members to build engagement, retention, and accountability.</li> <li>Help oversee department-related reporting, including licensure, education, and attendance compliance, in coordination with HR/payroll and leadership.</li> <li>Perform other leadership and clinical duties as assigned to support residents, staff, and overall unit operations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Enjoy outstanding benefits and perks as part of&nbsp;National Lutheran Communities &amp; Services&nbsp;to support your well-being and growth:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Up to 5 weeks PTO in your first year</li> <li>403(b) retirement plan with employer matching</li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance options</li> <li>Employer-paid life and disability insurance</li> <li>Pet insurance to keep your furry friends healthy</li> <li>Team recognition programs and discounted meals</li> <li>Up to $4,000 per year in tuition reimbursement for your continued education</li> </ul> <p>When you join The Village at Rockville, you become part of a community that puts people first residents and team members alike.
