<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>We’re seeking <strong>experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Registered Nurses</strong> across a range of specialties to join a respected health system in <strong>Fairbanks, Alaska</strong> on a <strong>three-year contract</strong>.</p>
<p>As an RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. You’ll work in a facility known for its strong nurse-to-patient ratios, trauma care excellence, and commitment to continuous improvement.</p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with behavioral health protocols and therapeutic standards</li>
<li>Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and oversee treatments including IV therapy when clinically indicated</li>
<li>Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to assess mental health needs and implement individualized care plans</li>
<li>Document psychiatric evaluations, nursing interventions, and patient progress with accuracy and timeliness</li>
<li>Respond to psychiatric crises and medical emergencies, performing critical interventions such as de-escalation techniques and emergency procedures</li>
<li>Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and discharge planning to support long-term wellness</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines, including those specific to behavioral health environments</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)</strong></li>
<li><strong>NCLEX-RN</strong> successfully passed (or NCLEX study is in progress as a minimum)</li>
<li><strong>English proficiency</strong> (certification or native fluency)</li>
<li>Minimum <strong>24 months of recent acute care experience</strong></li>
<li>Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of <strong>3 years</strong></li>
</ul>
