Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and update patient records accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and home care instructions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Required Skills and Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a specialized area such as ICU, Pediatrics, or Oncology.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Soft Skills and Behavioral Expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with patients and their families.
