Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. This role is critical in delivering exceptional nursing care to our patients, ensuring their holistic well-being and supporting their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process, focusing on delivering personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to protocol and safety standards.
- Monitor patient progress, documenting changes and coordinating with healthcare teams for optimal care continuity.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to streamline patient care initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute or critical care settings.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred / Nice-to-have Skills
- Specialization in Managed Care or Oncology Nursing.
- Additional certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
