Registered Nurse - Patient Care Specialist

Role Overview

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting their physical and emotional needs. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exemplary patient outcomes, while nurturing a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures to patients according to physician orders and established policies.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Provide consultation and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals in meeting patient health needs.
• Perform routine nursing assessments and document findings.

Required Skills and Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Specialized knowledge in critical care or emergency nursing.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Education and Certifications

Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. BLS/ACLS certification required.
