Registered Pharmacy Technician - M-F, full time, first shift

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Title</strong>: Pharmacy Technician</p> <p><strong>Company</strong>: Cincinnati Eye Institute</p> <p>This position is located in Blue Ash, Ohio.</p> <p>This is a full-time, first shift position in a closed-door, non-retail pharmacy.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>Provide support to the Compounding Pharmacist by performing clerical, customer service, and housekeeping duties to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Demonstrates quality patient service during interactions with patients, coworkers, and vendors:</p> <p>· Exhibits a positive attitude and is flexible in accepting work assignments and priorities</p> <p>· Meets attendance and tardiness expectations</p> <p>· Is dependable; follows policies and procedures</p> <p>· Maintains professionalism in interactions with patients and coworkers</p> <p>· Performs quality work and consistently exhibits initiative</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Cleans the pharmacy room according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).</li> <li>Stocks the cleanroom with necessary supplies used in compounding.</li> <li>Monitors the usage of each drug. Stocks and maintains inventory for each drug.</li> <li>Reviews, documents and files prescriptions.</li> <li>Prints drug orders and makes logs for the ordered drugs which includes entering the prescription into the system, printing labels and attaching the labels to the drug products.</li> <li>May compound drugs under the supervision of the pharmacist.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school graduate.</li> <li>State of Ohio pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Pharmacy Technician license preferred&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;Work takes place in a normal pharmaceutical environment. Travel to other CVP locations may be necessary to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
