Registered Psychotherapist/ Clinical Counsellor (Virtual Role)

LifestyleRx is seeking passionate Registered Psychotherapists or Clinical Counsellors who are dedicated to helping patients achieve better health outcomes through evidence-based lifestyle medicine.

As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a key role in supporting patients through the behavioural and emotional changes necessary to improve their metabolic health. This is a virtual, part-time position with flexible scheduling with a minimum requirement of 10 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

· Provide 1:1 virtual counselling to patients enrolled in our 12-week Lifestyle Medicine program

· Support patients in navigating behaviour change, emotional eating, stress, motivation, and other Psychological aspects of mental health and health improvement.

· Develop and deliver care plans to help patients improve sleep and stress resilience

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, dietitians, and physiotherapists

· Participate in training to become confident in delivering care using our lifestyle medicine framework

What We’re Looking For

· Registered to practice in BC, AB or ON

· Training and/or experience in behavioural change, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and lifestyle medicine

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Comfortable with technology and delivering care in a virtual environment

· Able to work independently and within a collaborative team setting
