About the role
Data and technology are reinventing the ways banks do business and DBS is leading the way with our quest to make banking invisible. To bring us closer to our goal, we are creating a Digital Acquisition team; staffed by a team of brilliant Digital Relationship Managers who will work to establish a relationships with customers with the help of data, new technologies and new channels.
The right candidate will build trusting relationships with customers and seek out new opportunities to meet customers’ financial needs through meaningful engagements, provision of knowledgeable advice and valuable, consistent experiences. Aside from their RM training, Digital RMs will achieve this with extensive use of data, smart application of technologies and robust knowledge of financial products.
- Embracing data to gain insights into customers; especially in understanding customers (current / evolving) financial needs
- Rapidly establish trust with customers to understand the state of customers’ business and identifying financial needs
- Build on the trust to communicate and provide consultation to meet customers’ financial needs
- Actively feedback, participate or drive creation of new and competitive propositions to address customers’ financial needs and capture these opportunities
- Actively feedback, participate or driving robust systematic tracking of results
- Own 360 relationship with the customer – actively feedback and contribute through designing great customer experiences to ensure customer satisfaction beyond sales
- Identify opportunities for x-sell, upsell and forward sell to continuously address customers financial needs
- Keen to learn and open to experiment on new ways of working; not necessarily via F2F meetings but through virtual tools and interactions
- Be familiar with competition to be able to stay ahead of them
- 10 years + experience (for Digital RM) or 3-5 years’ experience for Assistant DRM
- Experience as a Relationship Mgr, Sales Mgr or CSO in bank or financial organization is preferred
- Experience in any service role in a bank or financial organization is a plus
- Experience in managing corporate customer or complex needs is a plus
- Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
